We have a long EU-tradition in condemning the building of walls and creating segregation, such as the Israeli West Bank Barrier.

Explanation / Comment

In 2004, the European Commission, in collaboration with the UN, published a report on the impact of the Israeli West Bank Barrier on communities who have been particularly impacted by it, with a conclusion of the International Court of Justice, that building a wall is to be contrary to International law.
